The Pied Piper of Edgewater...

Music is ageless since "the morning stars sang together,
and all the sons of  God shouted for joy..."
Proverbs 38:7

"Music to me is like breathing--I don't get tired of breathing, I don't get tired of music."
Ray Charles
Music is taken into battle, as well as into the home.  It can be what unites lovers as well as believers in cathedrals or simple chapel buildings.   Babies are sung to as soon as they are cradled until their eyelids droop saturated with song.  It is elementary and exquisite.
After watching the pageant of the Revolutionary War re-enactment and the reviewing of the troops by Lafayette with a band playing fife and drum, our hearts were pounding with every note and boom.
Of course we brought Hank home a tin flute as a souvenir.   He's been an avid flutaphone fan since third grade.  He played "Hot Cross Buns," to two year old Addie & Ezra: they enjoyed it so much they kept calling out, "Again!" until he was breathless in its repetitions.  Their eyes were saucers of wonder at the Pied Piper.  It wasn't appreciated by their father trying to nap in the next room, however.
