Our daughter's new little foster son is smart.  He knows his colors and numbers and can write his name: pretty good for a just turned four year old.  But he doesn't know God.  Getting ready for church for the first time in his life, he asked, "What is God?  Is it like carpet?"  It will be a joy to introduce him to the Creator of the Universe who is, yes, under all (like carpet) and over all.  Aren't you glad that Jesus said heaven will have streets of gold instead of carpet?  I think it's the other place that has the stained, dirty, smelly carpet that has to be vacuumed.  Oh, yeah, and he's getting brand new carpet in his room this week!

"Would it not be possible for every man to double his intellectual force
by keeping much in the company of Infinite Wisdom?"
E.P. Tenney
"I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel."
Psalm 16:7
"Thus saith the Lord, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
neither let the mighty man glory in his might,
let not the rich man glory in his riches;
but let him that glorieth glory in this,
that I am the Lord which exercises lovingkindness,
judgment, and righteousness,in the earth;
for in these things I delight."
Jeremiah 9:23,24
Attitude of Gratitude
1.  faithful friends, faithful in church, and in their walk...
2.  doctors who decide not to go down the same old hunting trails, but try new paths of discovery in order to find healing for my friend...
3.  "blessed quietness, holy quietness, such assurance to my soul..."(and yes, it happened even though both my boys were home from school, sick.)
