Attitude of Gratitude: my son got an "A" in P.E!  That was a no-brainer for Son #1.  But for Son#2, it is HUGE!!!  The rest of his grades are almost all "A's" and "B."  This is like arriving in the Emerald City after following the Yellow Brick Road where there were lions and tigers and bears-oh my! and crazy talking trees and flying monkeys.  We lost our courage, our brain, and our heart!  He has come such a long way from those dark days of terrible nerve pain, transient paralysis, suicidal-losing touch with reality due to post-trauma and sheer agony.  Now he is off all meds and is a happy high school kid who likes hanging out with his friends who snort milk out their noses with laughter at lunch.  At home, he and his buddies like laughing along with Julian Smith (you-tube juvenile sensation) which makes even me bust a LOL.

  God is good is all I can say.  Do I hear an "Amen!"

"Though youths grow weary and tired,
And vigorous young men stumble badly,
Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and no become weary."
Isaiah 40:29-31
