Well, you know, I just have to let this verse stand all by itself...

"Thy testimonies are fully confirmed;
Holiness befits Thy house;
O Lord forevermore."
(verse 5 NASV)

"Holiness becometh thine house,
O Lord, for ever."
(verse 5, KJV)

As Adam Clarke says...
"'Thy testimonies are very sure.'
Thou wilt as surely fulfil Thy word as Thou wilt keep possession of Thy throne."

Then he goes on to say,
"'Holiness becometh thine house; Thy nature is holy,--all Thy works holy, --and Thy word is holy; therefore, Thy house, Thy church, should be holy...for Holiness becometh thine house--for ever, 'for length of days.'During the whole lapse of time; till the sun and moon shall be no more."

"The old Psalter says, 'the house of God is man's saule; and of this house holiness is 'the ornament;' it  produces that meek and quiet spirit which is in the sight of God of great price.  No decoration of person, nor simplicity of dress can supply the place of this heavenly clothing."

Matthew Henry says,
"He reigns in truth and holiness.  All His promises are inviolably faithful; 'Thy testimonies are very sure.' As God is able to protect His church, so He is true to the promises...God's church is His house.  The holiness of it is its beauty, and it is its strength and safetly; it is the holiness of God's house that secures it against the many waters and their noise. Where there is purity there shall be peace."

But back to the old Psalter,
"And the Lord hath avouched thee this day to be His peculiar people...
 that thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God,
as He hath spoken."
(Deuteronomy 26:18-19)

"And they will call them, 'The holy people,
The redeemed of the Lord';
And you will be called, 'Sought out,
a city not forsaken.'"
(Isaiah 62:12)

"He disciplines us for our good,
that we may share His holiness."
(Hebrews 12:10)

"...but like the Holy One who called you,
be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;
because it is written,
(I Peter 1:15-16)

Is God calling us to do, to be the impossible?  It is only possible through the filling of the Holy Spirit.  That makes sense, doesn't it, that to be holy, one must be filled with what is holy, the Holy Spirit?  One must be cleansed in order to be the vessel, sanctified and set apart for His use.  This is the holiness that befits, becometh His house.

Holiness is the very character, the beauty of God.
We cannot have God without His holiness,
nor would we want to serve a God without holiness.
And the funny thing is, God wants to share His holiness with us.
No matter how humble or crumbled,
He chooses to fill us.
This is the beauty of holiness.
