HEBREWS 3:2-6a

"He was faithful to Him who appointed Him,
as Moses also was in all His house.
For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses,
by just so much as the builder of the house has more honor than the house.
For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
Now Moses was faithful in all His house as a servant,
for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken later;
but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house--
whose house we are..."

Jesus said, 'For if you believed Moses,
you would believe Me,
for he wrote about Me.
But if you do not believe his writings,
how will you believe My words?
(John 5:46-47)

"For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses."

Worthy of more glory
Son, not a servant

"Faithfulness is trustworthiness."
(Andrew Murray)

"Moses was a servant in the house;
Jesus was a Son over His own house.
The true house, the true dwelling of God, is His people...
'We will come and make our abode'...
He that would know the faithfulness of Christ in His house,
must yield himself to be His house,
must allow Christ as Son over His house to be Master,
to have the keys alone, to hold undisturbed possession and rule...
God's heart is our habitation; our heart is God's habitation.
When Jesus said, "Abide in me, and I in you,'
He taught us that mutual relationship."
(Andrew Murray)

"O come to my heart, Lord Jesus;
There is room in my heart for Thee...
Let Thy voice call me home,
saying 'Yet there is room;
There is room at My side for Thee!
(Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne")

It is that intimate, personal.

"We Christians are His Church.
Our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
"He is  Head, Governor, Soul and Life of it."
(John Wesley)

So today we go to His house, church.
Yet, He lives in us.
Christ in me, the hope of glory.
I am His abode.

Mi casa es su casa!
